NEW LOOK CONTEST!
Today's Task.... Jeng Jeng Jeng....
Groups of 4
Time Limit 3 Hrs.
Create a Fresh New Look for the Class Blog.
Design Brief:
The New Look must be fun, hip, and reflects our personality as aspiring animators.
Theme is SIMPLE, HIP and FUN.
As a group, discuss on a design or theme that will suit the design brief.
Using what you've learnt in Photoshop so far, Create a new look for the Class Blog.
Each group is required to submit
1) A Banner for the class header
Width = 800px
height = Variable. Depends on your design.
Resolution = 72 dpi. (because its for the Web!)
2) 2 pictures for the side panel
width = 220 px
Height = Variable
Resolution = 72 dpi
2) A Colour Scheme to suit the blog (and header of course!)
Give me the Font name based on the standard for blogspot e.g: Georgia, Arial, Tahoma
Give the colours (web-safe) in hexadecimal nos.
e.g: Background = Black #000000
Text Colour = White #FFFFFF
Link Colour =
Post Title Colour =
Sidebar Text Colour =
Sidebar Title Colour =
3) Typeface and Font for the Main Body Text, and Side Text (Links etc....)
4) Mockup of How the web will look like at 800px by 600 px @ 72dpi.

PopArt Trial 1.
Today the class learnt a little more about photoshop... Basically they had to create their own version of popart. The purpose of this jobsheet is for the class to learn Colour Modes, Pen Tool (Paths), Hue and Saturation, Levels and how to duplicate layers.... Tomorrow we'll continue again.. and I hope the guys will upload their works soon! -ms sri-
